60 nights to see the difference, risk free

Comfort routines take a few weeks, so you get 60 nights, not 30. If you don't see them more comfortable, email us and we refund every cent. No forms, no hoops.

Why owners switch from clinic visits

No more drives and waiting rooms. Clinic light sessions run $25 to $100 each, often two or three times a week. This kit costs about the same as two or three visits, and you use it every night on your couch.

Gentle, every day. A clinic laser gives a big dose in a few minutes. Petciety gives a gentle dose for 20 calm minutes, every night, at home. That's the honest difference.

Nothing to swallow, no injections. It adds to your vet's plan, it never replaces it.

60 nights to see it for yourself. Double the usual 30-day window, because comfort routines take a few weeks.

How to use (by coat type)

Every pet: once a day, ideally while they nap. Start with 5 to 10 minutes for the first few evenings, then build up to 20. The timer switches it off.

Short or thin coat: strap it straight on. Thick or double coat: part the fur under the LEDs first. Dark coat: part the fur and use the longer end of the routine.

You never need to shave. The LEDs face the skin, so the closer the light sits, the better.

Is it safe? Is it made for pets?

Made for pets, not a human device. Leg Wraps shaped for the lower leg and a Back Pad that straps around the belly.

Gentle by design. Low-power LEDs, not a laser, and no UV. Gentle warmth, not a heating pad. The timer switches it off by itself. The LEDs face the body, so the light points away from their eyes. Never shine it toward anyone's eyes, and check the skin after each session.

Ask your vet before using it if your pet: has a known tumor or cancer, is pregnant, has epilepsy or seizures, is very young and still growing, or has reduced feeling in the area (for example after a spinal injury). In that last case, check the skin every 5 minutes.

Petciety is a general wellness product, not a medical device, and not a substitute for veterinary care.

What's in the box

Leg Wrap: the wrap, its controller (5 to 30 minute timer, brightness up and down) and a USB cable. Back Pad: the 60-LED pad and its adjustable strap. The Full Comfort Kit has 2 Leg Wraps and 1 Back Pad.

Senior labrador at the bottom of the stairs

Sound familiar?

The armadillo walk. The pause before the stairs.

Most pets never complain. They just slow down. A longer pause before they stand up. A skipped jump onto the sofa. Slipping on shiny floors. A walk that ends early. And you're left watching, feeling helpless.

You can't turn back the clock, but you can make their evenings more comfortable.

  • Slow to get up after a nap
  • Stiff first steps in the morning
  • Skips the sofa, the car or the stairs
  • Tired halfway through walks

Ticked even one? A gentle nightly routine can help them feel more comfortable.

The old way

More pills, more drives, more waiting rooms

Owners pay $25 to $100 per clinic light session, often two or three times a week. That means lifting a stiff dog into the car, a drive, a waiting room, and doing it all again in two days.

Petciety brings the same kind of red and near-infrared light home, as one more gentle thing you can do every night, right on the couch. Nothing to swallow, and it adds to your vet's plan.

  • No appointments or car rides
  • 20 calm minutes, every night
  • One kit costs about the same as 2 to 3 clinic visits

Reason 1 of 5

Light that reaches the skin, not the air

The number one complaint about home devices? "Glorified flashlights" that shine on the fur and nowhere else. Every Petciety LED faces the body: 18 on each Leg Wrap, 60 on the Back Pad, mixing red 660 nm and near-infrared 850 nm light.

Part thick or dark coats and the light sits right against the skin. No shaving needed, and the light points into the body, away from their eyes.

The science, honestly

Why vets use red light, and what studies found

Vets and rehab clinics use red and near-infrared light, called photobiomodulation. Petciety uses the same two kinds of light, red 660 nm and near-infrared 850 nm, in gentle LEDs made for home. Here is what researchers and vets have actually said.

Placebo-controlled study, 2018

Canadian Veterinary Journal

In a blinded trial of 20 dogs with elbow osteoarthritis, light therapy improved lameness and pain scores over 6 weeks, compared with a sham treatment.

Veterinarian, NBC News Select

Dr. Kate Elden, DVM

"The strongest evidence we have right now is for musculoskeletal issues, specifically osteoarthritis."

Double-blinded study, 2022

American Journal of Veterinary Research

In dogs with hip osteoarthritis, light therapy reduced pain levels and improved clinical findings, with joint range of motion improving up to 90 days.
Alves et al., 2022. AJVR 83(8)

Veterinarian, on safety

Dr. Kate Elden, DVM

"Across all the recent trials for arthritis, ear infections and skin issues, we almost never see adverse events reported."

The studies used clinic lasers in veterinary settings, not Petciety, and the vets quoted were speaking about red light therapy in general. None of them has reviewed or endorsed Petciety. Petciety is a gentle at-home wellness routine, not a medical device, and it works alongside your vet's advice.

Tabby cat on the sofa with the back pad

Reason 2 of 5

Made for nap time, so they actually keep it on

"He shakes it off." "I spend more time chasing him than using it." We hear it a lot. So the routine is built around rest: strap it on while they doze on the couch, press start, and let the timer do the rest.

Soft hook-and-loop wraps hug the lower leg. The Back Pad's strap wraps around the belly, from cats to big dogs. Gentle warmth, a soft red glow, and many pets melt right into it.

Reason 3 of 5

Legs, backs and hips, one kit

Stiffness rarely stays in one spot. The Leg Wraps fit the lower front or back leg. The Back Pad straps across the back or hips. Together they cover the places where pets feel stiff most, in the same 20 minutes.

  • 2 Leg Wraps: 18 LEDs each, 5 to 30 min timer
  • 1 Back Pad: 60 LEDs, strap opens to 80 cm
  • Black or grey Back Pad

Reason 4 of 5. Plenty of pet light gadgets hide behind "medical grade" talk. We'd rather tell you exactly what's inside and let you judge.

Not for: pets with a known tumor or cancer, pregnant pets, pets with epilepsy or seizures, or young pets still growing, unless your vet says it's OK. If your pet has reduced feeling somewhere, check the skin every 5 minutes. Petciety supports comfort; it doesn't diagnose or treat any condition, and it's never a replacement for your vet.

Does it actually work, or is it just a red flashlight?

Red and near-infrared light is used in many vet clinics. A clinic laser gives a big dose in a few minutes. Petciety gives a gentler dose for 20 minutes, every day, at home. The LEDs face the skin, not the air. Every pet is different, which is why you get 60 nights to see for yourself.

Is this the same light vets use?

It's the same kinds of light: red and near-infrared, often called photobiomodulation, which vets and rehab clinics use. Clinics usually use powerful lasers for a big dose in a few minutes. Petciety uses gentle LEDs for 20 calm minutes at home, every day. It's a wellness routine, not a clinic treatment, and it works alongside your vet's plan.

Is it made for pets? Has it been tested?

It's made for pets, not a human device: wraps shaped for the lower leg and a pad that straps around the belly. The published research on red light in dogs used clinic lasers, not Petciety, so we won't claim it as our own results. That's exactly why you get 60 nights to try it on your own pet, with a full refund if it's not for them.

Can the light get through fur? Do I need to shave?

No shaving. Part thick, double or dark coats under the LEDs so the light sits close to the skin. Short coats can go straight on.

My pet won't keep things on. Will this stay put?

Use it while they nap. The Leg Wraps close with soft hook-and-loop tabs around the lower leg, and the Back Pad straps around the belly. Lying down and calm works far better than chasing them around the house.

How long and how often should I use it?

Once a day. Start with 5 to 10 minutes for the first few evenings, then build up to 20. The timer switches it off, so you can't forget it.

Is it safe for their eyes? Does it get hot?

Strapped on, the LEDs face the body, so the light points away from their eyes. Keep the glowing side away from eyes and never shine it toward anyone's face. It's LED light with gentle warmth, not a heating pad. Check the skin after each session.

Is it a replacement for medication or my vet?

No. Petciety is a general wellness product, not a medical device. It adds a gentle, drug-free routine to your vet's plan, never instead of it. If your pet is in pain, please see your vet.

Is it safe for every pet?

Ask your vet first if your pet has a known tumor or cancer, is pregnant, has epilepsy or seizures, is very young, or has reduced feeling in the area.

Will it fit my big dog, small dog or cat?

The Leg Wraps fit the lower front or back leg of most dogs. The Back Pad's strap opens to 80 cm, so it fits around cats and small dogs up to large breeds. Not sure? Email us a photo and we'll tell you honestly.

Which kit should I choose?

One stiff leg: 1 Leg Wrap. Both front or both back legs: the Pair. Legs plus back or hips: the Full Comfort Kit, our most popular choice, with $38 off.

Why not just keep doing clinic sessions?

Keep them if they work for you. Many owners use a home routine between visits. Clinic sessions run $25 to $100 each; one kit costs about the same as two or three visits, and you can use it every night.
